rule no.1: my rules

today’s quest: spoon
Time’s up, apps lock — but instead of a guilt-trip screen, you get a quest: “find a wooden spoon.” Suddenly you’re up and rummaging.
proof of life ✓
Photograph the thing in the real world and your apps pop back open. Your pic unlocks your phone. That’s it. That’s the app.
the fine print (it’s nice)
Unpic is for adults who’d like their evening back — not parental control. You choose the apps, the limits, and how hard the quests are. Nobody is grounding you.
A block screen just makes you stare at a sadder screen. A quest gets you off the couch — into the kitchen, the garden, the real world. Friction, but make it fun.
All screen-time data stays on your device. Unpic uses Apple’s FamilyControls, so we never even see which apps you use. Truly. We couldn’t peek if we wanted to.
You’re the customer, not the product. No trackers, no “partners,” no creepy attention economics. Just you, your phone, and a wooden spoon.
We’re putting the finishing touches on the toy box. Join the waitlist and you’ll be first through the door when Unpic hits the App Store.
First quest complete. We’ll email you the moment Unpic is ready. Now go pat a houseplant or something.
No spam. One email when we launch, maybe two if it’s exciting.
